Camp Kadimah

Your second home, a Jewish summer camp located in beautiful Nova Scotia

● About

Our Kadimah home is here!

Since 1943, Camp Kadimah has been the cherished summer home for Jewish youth from Atlantic Canada and around the world. Nestled on the magnificent shores of Lake William in Nova Scotia, we combine true Maritime hospitality with incredible ruach (spirit) to foster lifelong friendships and a deep connection to Jewish identity. Whether you are a first-time camper or a third-generation alumni, your Kadimah home is here.

● Camp Life

The Kadimah Experience

At Camp Kadimah, Jewish and secular programming is combined to foster Jewish identity and overall confidence in an active, fun environment. We offer a wide variety of specialties including land sports, instructional swimming, water skiing, sailing, canoe and kayaking, drama, arts and crafts, scouting, Israeli song and dance, and other cultural programming.

● Staff

Why work at Kadimah?

We believe that staff return to Kadimah for many years because they are treated with respect and given the opportunity to take ownership of their summers by planning programs, making decisions, giving input, and helping to implement positive growth in campers and the camp itself.
