Hey Kadimah!

My name is Emily Platt and I am so pumped to be your assistant Melyad Director for 2007! This will be my fourth summer working at Camp Kadimah and I am so excited to spend my time with Shira and all of you doing nifty, beautiful and fun art projects. And tons of beading too, of course.

I am currently in Edinburgh, Scotland where I have been studying Sociology for the past 5 months at the University of Edinburgh. In the fall I will return to Halifax to complete my Sociology and Contemporary Studies degree at King?s and Dalhousie. I?ve loved being abroad but I can not wait to be back in Nova Scotia, my home away from home. My 9th summer at camp will no doubt be the best and I can?t wait to see all of your smiling faces!
