Nicole Crone
Head Counsellor (Junior Camp)

Hey Everyone!

It’s so good to be back on Kadimah’s senior staff list! Many of you may remember me as Goshmin section head 2001-2003. At the time, I thought summer 2003 was a great way to end my camp history…best section song, best prank…I’ve thought about that summer in the past three years and I realized how much fun I was missing out on; it was time to return and reconnect with many old campers as well as meet a whole bunch of new campers and staff. Since I left camp, I graduated from York University, traveled Australia, New Zealand and Fiji (with this summer’s Melyad Mama), I worked at City of Toronto day camps on integrating children with special needs, and I am currently finishing a Master’s degree in Occupational therapy at Queen’s University; it’s been busy, to say the least!

I am so excited to be head counsellor for the junior camp as well as to see all of my previous campers as mature Macharnicks and CIT’s (I am so old). For those of you interested in dance (tap, jazz, hip-hop), I will be glad to hook you up with some moves this summer. In addition to being a full time student, I have taught and choreographed dances for recreational and competitive dancers. Tap is my forte so feel free to bring your tap shoes and we can make some beautiful rhythms on the pavilion floor.

If anyone would like to ask me questions about the summer OR just catch up and say hello OR introduce yourselves to me, feel free to email me at nicole@campkadimah.com. I cannot wait to breath Barss Corner’s crisp clean air once again…get pumped, camp is just around the corner!
