Shalom Shalom,

My name is Michael last name Cook. People at camp tend to call me Cook or Cookie. I respond to it all. Camp has been a pretty important part of my life since my first year in 1994 as a first year Kochotnick. I just can’t seem to give it up yet. I spent two summers on Giborim staff but missed two summers while in the Israeli army. I made a comeback in 2004 as the Sailing Director. Last summer I was Goshrim Section Head and this summer I’m here for Kochot.

Kochot is clearly the greatest section in camp; all the reasons will become clear this summer. Me, Rachel (look below my name on the list), and all the Kochot staff are going to work very hard to ensure that expectations are exceeded.

Back to me for a second since this is a bio, I am American, have lived in Israel for the past almost six years and study Government, Diplomacy and Strategy here in Israel.
