Hakshivu, hakshivu, attention machene Machar. The 2006 summer opening day is just around the corner and what plans to be the best summer in the notorious Camp Machar history will be an unforgettable 6 weeks for each and everyone of you.
I go by the name of Jared but some of my peers, campers and sometimes myself refer to me as the G-Unit or the G-Lust. I will be one of your two Roshees in the biggest (and best) section in Kadimah along with the man they call N-Zatz (Noah).
I have been part of the Kadimah family since 1998, when I first stepped through the gates as a 1 st year Macharnik. This will be my 5 th year on staff and my 6 th summer in Machar. A little info about me, when I am not in Barss Corner; I just completed my 4 th year of a 5 year dual degree program in Recreation Management at Dalhousie University in Halifax. I was born and raised in Thornhill and attended the wonderful institution, CHAT. In my spare time I enjoy the occasional sport (actually pretty much everyone), listening to music beats (Hebrew and reggae included) and spending time with friends (who mostly consist of the Kadimah family).
Whether you’re a new lad at Kadimah or just a plain old regular, this summer is going to make you wish that it will just never end. Markit down on your calendars if you have not already done so, June 29 th…the Machar ’06 experience will begin with new, old, incredible, uber special programs that will blow you out of this world!
