Elysha Ames
Assistant Waterski Director

My name is Elysha Ames and I was born, raised and still live in Vancouver where I attend the University of British Columbia.  I am the president of my campus's Hillel and when I am not in the classroom or in the library writing a paper, I can be found on the slopes tearing into the fresh powder of Whistler Blackomb.  That would be skiing, not snowboarding, to be precise.

When i realized glacier skiing on Blackomb in the heat of July isn't all that its cracked up to be, I decided that I would have to find a new sport for the summer.  The closest thing I found is waterskiing.  That being said, I am excited to be working the waterski/wakeboarding dock with Benji this summer.  This will be my fifth summer at Kadimah, every one of which I have spent working the ski docks.  What I love most about Camp is that it provides me with the opportunity to share my passion for the sport I love with so many wonderful people.  I encourage everyone to come out to the ski docks and give whichever sport you choose a try and to sharpen your skills.  You may surprise yourself with what you can accomplish!

Questions, comments, concerns, or your simply feeling lonely and want to chat, send me an e-mail at soccer_star42@hotmail.com.  Looking forward to crossing the wake on Lake Williams and can't wait to see you all there too.
