Hi my name is Elisa Mayer and I will be the head of Melyad (Arts & Crafts) this summer. This will be my 11 th summer at Kadimah, although I haven’t been back to camp in two summers. Some of you may remember me, I am looking forward to seeing many old faces and meeting the new ones.

I can’t wait to be back in the east coast. I am originally from New Brunswick but moved to Toronto five years ago for school. Art has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I just graduated with a Bachelor of Design at the Ontario College of Art and Design; I majored in textile design. I have also been working in an elementary school all year helping to teach art classes. I have a great deal of experience working with kids and I am looking forward to teaching the campers new, fun and creative projects. Shira and I have a lot of excellent projects planned for you guys…so hurry up and finish school so we can see you in the Melyad as soon as possible. Good luck and I will see you at Camp.
