What’s good Camp Kadimah?
My name is Andrew Della Vedova, and I do sports. I’m your typical Muddy Water’s ‘mannish boy’ kind of guy. I like Motown, Vince Carter, and Belly Buster Subs. I dunked for the first time at the age of 4 and having been throwing it down in a large way ever since.
I’ve been going to Kadimah since ’97. This will be my 4 th summer on staff. I was the Co-Goshrim Head in the summer of ’04. I missed being at camp so much last summer, that it’s back to the Barss for the summer of ’06.
Throughout my life I have had a serious love affair with sports. I’ve played just about every team sport at a competitive level (although hockey and baseball have been my biggest). I’ve even started doing some cross-country things. Pink and I ran the Bluenose 22k marathon out here in Halifax a few days ago. I like to think that we’re both pretty cool guys as a result.
I’m originally from Toronto but just finished my third year of a four-year Bachelor of Commerce program with a major in accounting at Dalhousie. A few months back I accepted a job with a ‘Big Four’ firm for when I graduate (in September ’07). I’m pretty proud of myself, you should be too.
Well that’s that. What else can I say? Sara, Adbo, and I are excited for the summer. See you at camp. You’ll find me posting up by the ‘Field of Dreams’.
