WAYS TO GIVE AT KADIMAH

For  alumni, parents and even campers, there are many ways to support Camp Kadimah’s ‘Giving Program’ on a one time, annual or recurring basis.

1. Annual Campaign

Our most popular and oft-used donation method, contributions made through our annual campaign include one-time or monthly donations.  Monies are used to fund operational expenses including our Scholarship Program.  Click here to learn more and make your donation today.

2. Planned Gifts and Endowments

Planned giving is a wonderful way to support Kadimah, now and after you’re gone. A planned gift is any major gift, made in lifetime or at death, as part of a donor’s overall financial and/or estate planning. Examples include a bequest in a will,  gift of stock or an Endowment.

While some planned gifts provide life-long income to the donor, others use estate and tax planning techniques to provide for charity in a way that maximizes the value of the gift or minimizes its impact on the donor’s estate.

3. Major Gifts – Naming and Dedication

Naming rights are available at Camp Kadimah on a limited basis for major capital projects where we will build new facilities and re-furbish existing ones.  This is a chance to get yours or your family’s name on a building for generations of campers and staff to use.   Click here for more information.

4. Memorial and Tribute Gifts

Kadimah Tribute Cards are a wonderful way to support camp while honouring an individual (or a group) on the occasion of a  holiday, birthday, in memoriam and more. Click here for more information.

5.  Camper-Focused Giving

Some of our most meaningful gifts are the ones coming from our campers.  The two most popular methods for kids to give include Bar/Bat Mitzvah giving and ECHOage birthday parties:

  • We also have a longstanding recognition program for campers who celebrate their Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah and donate a portion of their monetary gift to camp.
  • Kids as young as age 6 play an important role in our Giving program through the money they raise at ECHOage sponsored parties.
