Planned Giving

When planning how one’s legacy can live on, naming Camp Kadimah as one of your beneficiaries is an alternative we hope our alumni may consider.

A legacy gift to Kadimah will have a lasting impact on campers and staff for generations to come.  There are many ways to make planned gifts including:

  • Bequests:  Making a gift to Kadimah in your will is the most common type of planned gift. You can give a specific sum or property or a percentage of your estate.
  • Gifts of Stock: Donating appreciated securities, including stocks or bonds, is an easy and the most tax-effective way for you to make an outright gift during your lifetime.  If you donate appreciated securities to charity, you pay no capital gains tax.
  • Life Insurance:  A gift of life insurance is a simple and thoughtful way to make a gift to Kadimah. Insurance allows you to make a modest gift now for a significant gift in the future and premiums are tax deductible.
  • Charitable Remainder Trusts:  A CRT is a life income gift that enables you to give today (with immediate tax savings) while retaining use of the asset (investments, real estate, work of art, etc.). After a prescribed period or upon your death, the asset is transferred to Camp Kadimah.
