ABOUT KADIMAH

Friendship sets Camp Kadimah apart from all others. Campers travel from across the country and world to spend a summer in "their second home," and it is the strength of these relationships that keep campers and staff returning year after year. Camp Kadimah offers a dynamic summer experience for Jewish children from all over the world. Over fifty years ago Camp Kadimah began to cater to the Jewish community of Maritime Canada, and over the years it has truly become an international camp. Our program is varied and unique and offers our campers a wide variety of physical and cultural activities. Camp Kadimah is proud to be afiliated with Canadian Young Judaea.

She has been a specialist, section head, administrator and assistant director and is happy to return for a third successful summer as director. Originally from Montreal, Joanna met and married her husband Ezra on Camp grounds, and brought the newest and youngest camper, their son Boaz, to camp last year for the first time.

Joanna was educated in Jewish day school in Montreal, and is a graduate of Dalhousie University. She is currently working on her CGA accounting designation and works for Camp Kadimah year round from the Atlantic Jewish Council office in Halifax.
